Job Title: Level 3 Room Leader – Nursery Location: Sutton, South London Contract: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP or September 2025 Salary: Competitive, based on experience A welcoming and well-established nursery in Sutton is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Level 3 Room Leader to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner looking to take the next step in their early years career and lead a dynamic team within a nurturing and high-quality early years environment. The Role: • Lead and manage a designated room, ensuring high standards of care and education • Oversee the daily running of the room, supporting a team of practitioners • Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents • Monitor key children’s development, keeping up-to-date records and progress tracking • Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed Requirements: • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential) • Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally in a senior or room lead role • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development • Confident in leading a team and managing daily routines • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) What the Nursery Offers: • Supportive leadership and ongoing CPD opportunities • A positive and collaborative working environment • Opportunities for career progression within the setting • Competitive salary based on experience and responsibilities Ready to lead with passion and purpose?
