Job Title: Early Years TA
Early Years Teaching Assistant Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant Location: Tower Hamlets Contract Type: Full time Job Purpose To support the learning, development, and care of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that promotes children’s early education and school readiness. You will work under the direction of teaching staff to support daily routines, activities, and individual learning. Key Responsibilities • Support the planning and delivery of activities in line with the EYFS framework. • Provide individual and group support to children, including those with SEND, EAL, or additional needs. • Promote children’s independence, language development, and social skills through play-based learning. • Help to set up and tidy away learning environments, both indoors and outdoors. • Support with daily care routines such as toileting, changing, mealtimes, and dressing where required. • Foster strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour management policies consistently. • Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
