Job Title: Part-Time SENCO (3 Days Per Week) – Primary School – Tulse Hill
An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Tulse Hill is seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) via agency.
As the school’s SEND provision continues to grow, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Inclusion Manager with the SEND workload, particularly focusing on pupils receiving SEND support and those undergoing assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic support for SEND provision across the school
• Work closely with pupils, staff, and families to ensure appropriate interventions and support plans are in place
• Assist with the assessment and review process for children with SEND
• Collaborate with external agencies and services as needed
Ideal Candidate:
• Holds or is currently working towards the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO)
• Has experience working with primary-aged pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Is proactive, organised, and committed to inclusive education
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
Details:
• Location: Tulse Hill, South London
• Start Date: As soon as possible/ September 2025
• Commitment: 3 days per week
• Contract: Agency placement
