Job Title: Midday Meal Supervisor
Midday Meal Supervisor – Primary School – Tower Hamlets
£12–£14/hour | Tower Hamlets | 11:30am–2:00pm | Term Time Only
Axcis are supporting a community-focused primary school in Tower Hamlets who are looking to appoint a Midday Meal Supervisor to support pupils during lunchtime. The school has a warm, inclusive ethos and prides itself on creating a safe, happy environment for all children.
Conveniently located near multiple bus routes and Tube/DLR links, the school is easy to access from across East London.
In this role, you will be:
• Supervising children during lunch in both indoor and outdoor areas.
• Encouraging positive play, social interaction and respectful behaviour.
• Supporting pupils with transitions between lunch and afternoon lessons.
• Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
• Helping maintain a calm and enjoyable lunchtime experience.
What we’re looking for:
• Someone who enjoys working with children in a school environment.
• A patient, observant and approachable personality.
• Understanding of basic safeguarding principles.
• Commitment to term-time work.
