Job Title: Learning Mentor
Full-Time Learning Mentor – Mainstream College
Location: Wandsworth, Southwest London
Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £89-£110
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Learning Mentor to join a respected mainstream college in Wandsworth this September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students aged 16–18 with both their academic progress and personal development.
About the Role
As a Learning Mentor, you will:
– Provide individualised, one-to-one support for students, particularly those retaking GCSE English and Maths
– Help students develop effective study habits, time management, and motivation
– Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment
– Work collaboratively with teachers and college staff to ensure consistent and coordinated support

– Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational or mentoring setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– A calm, empathetic, and motivating approach
– A genuine commitment to helping students succeed academically and personally
