HLTA – Primary SEND – Havering | From £110/day | Primary | Havering | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are supporting a thriving primary school in Havering who are looking for a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across their SEND provision. The school has a nurturing ethos, an ambitious leadership team, and is proud of its inclusive curriculum. Easily reached by rail and bus, with parking available, it’s a fantastic location for East London and Essex-based candidates. In this role, you will be: • Leading small group interventions for pupils with additional needs. • Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring learning continues smoothly. • Supporting students with autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs across KS1 and KS2. • Working closely with the SENCO to deliver targeted support and track progress. What we’re looking for: • HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience leading groups and covering lessons). • A solid background in supporting children with SEND. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Organised, flexible and committed to inclusion.
