Job Title: Early years Teaching assistant - St Helens
JOB LOCATION:

Axcis Education is urgently seeking a 1:1 teaching assistants. This will be a full-time post, covering 5 days per week (Monday - Friday). Based in the St Helens area. The position will be working 1:1 with a pupil in EYFS who has additional needs. We require someone with excellent behaviour control, a calm manner, and someone who can build a good relationship with this pupil & family members as quickly as possible. In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria; oHold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. an NQV or CACHE L2 or L3), or have a minimum of 3 months full time experience in a classroom. oHave eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident. oTwo suitable references covering the last 2 years. oHold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
