Job Title: Autism Specialist- Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant – Plymouth Are you passionate about helping children learn, grow and thrive? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in a welcoming SEND school in the Plymouth area, supporting students with autism and speech and language difficulties. About the role Working closely with class teachers, therapists and support staff, you will help pupils access their learning, build confidence and develop communication skills in a structured and nurturing environment. You will be supporting students with autism and speech and language difficulties on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with tailored classroom activities, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, inclusive learning environment.
