Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant
ASD Teaching assistant Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a 10-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is an inclusive primary school, where the children are engaged and eager to learn. Role Details: Job Title: Teaching Assistant – 1:1 SEND Support (ASD) Location: East London (easily accessible by public transport) Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time, term-time only Salary: From £13.69 per hour Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day Implement individual learning strategies and adapt classroom activities Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and parents Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Support the pupil’s emotional wellbeing and social development Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children with ASD, particularly in school settings Strong understanding of autism and differentiated learning techniques Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service Why Join Axcis?
