Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ADHD Teaching Assistant to join our team in Richmond, London. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ADHD and experience working with children with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in implementing tailored educational programs for students with ADHD, facilitating an inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in the development and adaptation of learning materials to meet individual student needs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance students' engagement, focus, and social skills.
• Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure effective strategies are in place.
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional and social development.
• Maintain a safe and structured classroom environment, encouraging positive behaviour and effective communication.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an educational setting, particularly with children with ADHD or other special educational needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic approach to student needs.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education, psychology, or a related field are advantageous.
