Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, child-centred Year?3 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will deliver the national curriculum with high expectations, foster a love of learning, and support every pupil’s academic, social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across English, Mathematics, Science and foundation subjects.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and mutual respect.
• Record and report pupil progress in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to whole-school initiatives, staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, communicating effectively about pupil achievement and wellbeing.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2?years experience teaching in a primary setting, preferably Year?3.
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and current pedagogical best practice.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
