Job Title: Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Year 1 (1:1 Support)
Full-Time | 08:30am – 4:00pm | Start After Easter
Location: Near North Ealing Station
We are working with a lovely, warm and nurturing primary school located just a short walk from North Ealing Station, seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time after the Easter break.
This is a rewarding 1:1 role supporting a Year 1 pupil with ASD, SEMH needs, and some complex behaviours. The child is high-functioning, and the school is looking for someone who is patient, consistent, and able to build a strong, positive relationship while supporting both learning and emotional development.
The Role:
-Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 4:00pm)
-1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with ASD, SEMH, and additional needs
-Supporting behaviour, engagement, and classroom learning
-Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team
-Creating a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

-Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
-A team player who can integrate well within the classroom
-Committed and reliable
Requirements:
-Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a UK school
-Experience working with ASD, SEMH, and/or complex needs
-Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
-Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
