Job Title: Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism Support – Primary – Tower Hamlets
£95–£105 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term
Axcis are supporting an inclusive and well-led primary school in Tower Hamlets with a strong commitment to SEND provision. They are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism within a structured classroom environment.
The school has a nurturing ethos, clear behaviour systems and a highly supportive SENCO who works closely with support staff. Staff turnover is low, and teamwork is central to their culture.
You will:
• Support pupils with communication and social interaction
• Use visual timetables and structured routines
• Assist with differentiated learning activities
• Promote independence and emotional regulation
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
