SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism (primary) Location: Newham, East London Salary: £89 per day upwards Start date: ASAP Job type: Full-time, long-term Description: Axcis are working with a mainstream primary school in Newham with a well-established SEND autism base, seeking a SEND teaching assistant to support pupils with autism and communication needs. Pupils are taught in small groups with high staff-to-pupil ratios. The school has an inclusive ethos, structured routines and strong support from specialist teachers and therapists. This is an excellent role for someone with experience supporting autism or who is keen to develop specialist send experience in a nurturing environment.
