Teaching Assistant – PMLD / Complex Needs (Secondary) Location: Newham, East London Job Type: Full-time, Long-term Salary: £89 per day upwards Start: ASAP Description: Axcis are working with a specialist SEND school in Newham is seeking an SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and complex needs in a secondary-aged setting. This SEND Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties, including non-verbal communication needs, physical disabilities and medical needs. Pupils are supported in small classes with high staff-to-pupil ratios. The role may include personal care and manual handling, so experience or willingness to be trained is essential. The school provides full training and ongoing support.
