Your role will be key in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to reach their potential. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASC, promoting engagement, confidence, and independence. • Support small-group learning, delivering booster sessions in maths and literacy to enhance progress • Help pupils develop social skills and self-regulation through positive, structured interaction • Prepare and adapt learning resources to suit individual needs and learning styles • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Track and report on pupil progress, celebrating achievements and identifying next steps • Contribute to a calm, inclusive classroom atmosphere by supporting positive behaviour management strategies • Take part in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen your skills and confidence • Always uphold the school’s values, policies, and safeguarding commitments ________________________________________ About You: • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (or similar role) in a school environment • Understanding and experience of supporting pupils with ASC or additional needs • Confident literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to deliver targeted interventions • Relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), or strong practical experience • Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine desire to help children learn and grow • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive approach ________________________________________ Why Join?
