Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Frome, Somerset Hours: Full-Time, 8.30am – 3.30pm Salary: £90 - £95 per day Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Do you have experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in the heart of Frome, Somerset. As a specialised Teaching Assistant, you'll be working within a dynamic and supportive educational environment. You will play a crucial role in the development and education of students with additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities: - Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the classroom teacher and SENCO. - Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to fully participate in activities. - Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary. - Prepare learning materials under the supervision of the teacher. - Manage pupil behaviour and support students in overcoming their barriers to learning. - Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher. - Support the teacher in managing class behaviour. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for pupils at all times.
