Job Title: Teaching assistant
Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School (September 2025 Start) Location: Hampton, Richmond Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Salary: £89-£110 per day A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hampton, Richmond is seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. The role involves supporting pupils in mainstream classrooms, with the potential to assist within the school’s SEND provision. Key Responsibilities: - Support teaching and learning across mainstream classes - Provide one-on-one and small group support, including for pupils with SEND - Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment - Prepare learning resources and assist with lesson delivery - Monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers and support staff Requirements: - Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred - A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development - Strong communication and organisational skills - Experience or training in SEND is an advantage - Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification) How to Apply: To be considered for a September 2025 start, please send your CV and cover letter to Molly at Molly@axcis.co.uk.
