Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEND school
Start Date: September | Ongoing until end of academic year Hours: Part-Time (Mon–Fri) Axcis Education is working in partnership with a well-established and highly regarded primary SEND school in Trafford to recruit a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant starting this September. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment. About the Role: - Support pupils aged 4–11 with a range of complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and social-emotional challenges. - Work closely with class teachers and the wider team to provide individualised support. - Contribute to a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. - Part-time hours spread across 5 days per week. We are looking for someone who ideally has experience working with children with SEND. A caring attitude and a willingness to learn are the most important qualities. You should have a calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour management and communication. Reliability and commitment are key, as the school is seeking someone who can support pupils consistently from September through to the end of the academic year.
