This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning. Working within Key Stage 2, you will provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, SEND and SEMH needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to support learning, positive behaviour, emotional regulation and pupil development. SEN Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, SEND and SEMH needs • Support pupils to access the Key Stage 2 curriculum • Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons, activities and learning resources • Support children's learning, emotional regulation, social development and independence • Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation techniques • Create a calm, safe and structured learning environment • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils • Encourage positive social interaction and participation in school life • Monitor and track pupil progress and celebrate achievements • Support the preparation and adaptation of learning resources • Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff • Participate in ongoing training and professional development, including trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice What We're Looking For: We are looking for a caring, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for supporting children.
