Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEN
Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism & Complex Needs | EN3
Start: ASAP | Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Mon–Fri
Location: Specialist SEN School, EN3
A welcoming specialist SEN school in EN3 is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism, complex learning needs, and non-verbal communication. You’ll provide both classroom and 1:1 support, helping students engage through structured routines, sensory activities, and personalised communication strategies.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting children with autism and complex needs
Is confident using, or willing to learn, PECS, Makaton, or visual supports
Brings a calm, patient, and supportive approach
Can commit for the remainder of the academic year
