Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Secondary Autism Support (Bristol)
Axcis Education is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support a Year 7 pupil with Autism at a secondary school in Bristol. This position is to start from Term 2 (Monday 3rd November 2025) and will run Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.
The role will involve working 1:1 with a pupil who presents with challenging behaviour, mainly outside of the classroom. The ideal candidate will be:
• Experienced in supporting pupils with Autism and SEMH needs
• Resilient, flexible, and proactive, with the ability to think on their feet
• Able to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
• Happy to engage in alternative learning and outdoor activities, such as frisbee and other movement-based sessions
