Job Title: Teaching Assistant, Forest Of Dean
Axcis are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to work in a secondary school in The Forest Of Dean. The school is a superb secondary school who are looking for an experienced TA to join the team specifically working in their SEND resource base. You must have worked as a TA in either a primary or secondary setting before and ideally have supported SEND pupils with either ASD or SEMH. The resource base is ran by a highly regarded teacher with a superb TA team that you will become part of. The role is a 1:1 support post and is full time 08.30-15.30 and it is essential that you are a committed educator as the pupil does not like change and there has been a lot of movement in terms of support staff over the past few years. The school are looking for someone with a good understanding of SEND but also have a warm and fun character that will allow the pupil to engage in the learning.
