The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) • Adapt learning materials to help students access the secondary curriculum • Support literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills development • Promote independence, confidence, and positive peer relationships • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive, structured, and engaging learning environment • Monitor and track student progress, contributing to reviews and EHCP outcomes • Support students’ emotional wellbeing and ensure safeguarding procedures are upheld at all times • You will play a key role in helping students build resilience, develop self-belief, and experience success both academically and personally.
