Job Title: Teaching Asisstant
Teaching Assistant – Epilepsy Support
Location: Manchester (Secondary School)
Start: September 2025 | Pay: ~£89–£105/day

We're seeking a TA who understands how best to support students with epilepsy—someone caring enough to know their health needs, alert enough to act when seizures happen, and respectful enough to ensure safety and inclusion Epilepsy Society.
Your mission:
• Learn each student’s seizure profile and contribute to their Individual Healthcare Plan
• Monitor and record significant health observations in class and during activities
• Conduct risk assessments for practical lessons, PE, or field trips, ensuring safety
• Remain calm and follow first-aid protocols during seizures, involving trained colleagues or emergency services as needed
• Promote inclusion through education about epilepsy, reducing stigma in classrooms Epilepsy Society
You are:
• Trustworthy, observant, and well-organised
• Comfortable working closely with families and health professionals
• Ability to balance vigilance with empathy—ensuring students feel safe, not limited
