Position: Teacher Location: Guildford, Surrey Employment Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30?am – 4:00?pm Salary: Paid to scale (National Teaching Salary Framework) Overview We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Teacher to join our vibrant community school in Guildford. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies. • Assess, record and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted interventions. • Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe, respectful, and motivating atmosphere. • Contribute to whole-school initiatives, including staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities. • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and external partners to support each pupil’s holistic development. Essential Qualifications & Experience • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Proven experience teaching in a secondary or primary setting (minimum 1?year preferred). • Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
