Axcis are looking to recruit a Support Workers based at the Priory Group site in Charnwood Lodge, based near Loughborough. The Support Worker position is a role that provides a high standard of care and support to all residents within the setting with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill-health and challenging behaviours. No shift will be the same and the role will be rewarding. Axcis are currently looking to recruit part-time and full- time staff. Do you have the following skills and attributes? -Excellent communication skills. -A team player. -Flexibility with your working hours. -A passion for helping others. -Always looking to learn new skills. If you feel the above is you, then this could be the role for you. What the role will entail; - Provide support that will enable the service user to live as independently as possible. - Tasks involved with daily living such as maintaining a safe and clean environment. - Support with cooking meals. - Participate and initiate activities in and outside of the home. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
