Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist
A welcoming and inclusive all-through special needs school in Brent is looking for a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join their dedicated team this September.
This is a full-time, term-time only role working with students across Key Stages 1 to 3, supporting children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and teaching assistants to create and deliver effective, tailored interventions that make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess speech, language, and communication needs of students
Develop and deliver individualised therapy plans
Provide direct therapy sessions and in-class support
Contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Train and advise staff on best practices in communication support
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Recognised qualification as a Speech and Language Therapist
HCPC registration (or eligibility to register)
Experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEND setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Available full-time from September
