Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Secondary - Autism - Birmingham - City Centre Axcis are happy to say that are working with an amazing secondary site with a big send department who are on the search for a special needs teaching assistant to join their team. You will be expected to work on full - time basis, Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 4:00pm. This role based in Birmingham City Centre is due to start after the Easter holidays on a long - term basis until the end of the academic year. The right candidate will have a minimum of 1 years worth of experience working in either a education or care background. You must also have experience working with Autism. The ideal candidate will also have an NVQ level 3 and Makaton / PECS training, this isn't necessary but is preferred.
