Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEND Tutor with specialisation in Electricals and Bricklaying to join our team in Sutton, London. As a specialist in fostering vocational skills, you will provide tailored educational support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), guiding them to achieve their full potential both in theory and hands-on practice.
Responsibilities:
- Craft individualised learning plans that cater to each student's abilities and IEP goals.
- Deliver engaging and accessible lessons in electricals and bricklaying, adapting teaching methods to suit various learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage development.
- Work collaboratively with other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all safety regulations within practical workshops.
- Employ a patient and empathetic approach to address student challenges and celebrate their achievements.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, with a focus on SEND.
- Proven expertise in electrical and bricklaying vocational training.
- Proficient in creating and executing individualised education programmes.
- Exceptional communication skills tailored to suit diverse learning needs.
