Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistants, Sandwell
We are currently looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to join a supportive primary school in the Sandwell area for September. This is a full-time, long-term role offering rewarding work within a welcoming school environment.
The successful candidates will be working closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, supporting children with a variety of special educational needs (SEN). Your role will be key in helping pupils access learning and achieve their full potential. We are looking for committed individuals who enjoys going the extra mile.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Foster pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and school staff
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• Working in a classroom setting is essential
• Experience working with children with SEN is essential
• Caring, empathetic, and a positive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Start Date: From 1st September
Location: Sandwell B68
Position Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Pay: From £89 per day
