SEND Teaching Assistant

We're recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex SEND needs a specialised all through setting in Islington.
The Role
You'll work closely with students who require additional support, helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop independence in a positive and inclusive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group SEND support
• Supporting learning, communication, and emotional regulation
• Assisting with personal care when required
• Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and wider support staff
• Helping create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
About You
We're looking for someone who:
• Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Is patient, resilient, and nurturing
• Is comfortable supporting personal care needs
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is passionate about helping every child succeed
