SEND Teaching Assistant – Slough | £92.63 per day | Monday to Friday | Start: 5th October Are you a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a specialist school where you can make a real difference? We are working with an all-age special school in Slough that is looking for a dedicated SEND TA to join their team from 5th October. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with pupils of different ages and abilities and wants to be part of a supportive and rewarding school environment. You’ll be supporting pupils with a broad range of additional needs, including PMLD, SLD, complex needs, ASD, ADHD and SEMH. Your role will involve providing individual and small-group support, helping pupils engage with learning, supporting communication and interaction, encouraging independence and contributing to their overall wellbeing. Every pupil is different, so you’ll need to be adaptable and confident in responding to a range of needs. Some pupils may require additional support with communication, sensory regulation, behaviour and emotional wellbeing, while others may need more intensive physical and learning support. Personal care experience is essential. You will be expected to support pupils with their personal care needs, which may include toileting, changing, feeding and other daily care routines. The school is looking for someone who is patient, compassionate and reliable, with previous experience working with children or young people with SEND. You should be comfortable working with complex needs, able to build strong relationships with pupils and confident working as part of a wider classroom and school team.
