Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Slough
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £89 per day

A specialist school in Slough is looking for a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a PRU setting. This is a highly rewarding role working with children and young people with SEMH and complex behavioural needs, where you will play a key part in providing stability, support, and positive guidance.
The Role
In this role, you will:
Support pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour on a daily basis
Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, staying active throughout the school day
Set clear, consistent boundaries while building positive and trusting relationships
Act as a strong role model and mentor to pupils
Assist teaching staff in delivering personalised learning and behaviour support strategies
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs
Is confident, calm, and capable of managing challenging behaviour
Brings energy, resilience, and a proactive approach
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Is passionate about supporting pupils in a specialist education setting
