Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Saltash

The role:
• Provide tailored 1:1 support, helping pupils develop both academically and socially
• provide tailored, compassionate support for children with ADHD, autism, SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs), and a range of other learning difficulties, helping them feel safe, understood, and confident in their learning environment.
• Monitor progress and celebrate successes, contributing to IEPs and ongoing assessments
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to implement personalised support plans
• Help maintain a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive
About you:
• Have personal or professional experience supporting children with SEN
• Are patient, flexible, and committed to making a positive impact
• Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
• Hold (or are working towards) a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
