Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Welcome to Axcis Education. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience with children with SEND. We are working with a large specialist SEND school in Blackburn, who are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their growing team.

8:45am-3:45pm shifts

The school specialises in supporting students with autism predominantly, but they also have students with additional learning needs. The candidate must come with experience/willingness to provide any personal care needed. Parking is available on site, however, the school also has great public transport links from Blackburn city centre.
We are looking for somebody who has:
A minimum of 6 months professional or personal experience with people with SEND OR - a certified qualification in a relevant area- education, psychology, drama etc
A can-do attitude and desire to make a difference with the children they are supporting
Good communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS check (we can guide you through this process if you do not already have one)
