SEND TA – Team Teach – Secondary – Barking & Dagenham From £94/day | Secondary | Barking & Dagenham | Immediate Start | Full-Time Axcis are recruiting a Team Teach trained Teaching Assistant for a large and inclusive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham. The school has an excellent SEND department, dedicated pastoral team and a reputation for supporting students with complex behaviour needs exceptionally well. With parking available and strong transport links, it’s highly accessible from across East London. In this role, you will be: • Supporting pupils with SEMH, autism and behaviour needs across KS3/KS4. • Using Team Teach strategies appropriately during de-escalation and regulation. • Helping students remain engaged and confident during lessons. • Providing 1:1, small-group and in-class support depending on individual needs. • Working with the SENCO and pastoral leads to deliver consistent behaviour support. What we’re looking for: • Valid Team Teach certificate (or similar training). • Experience with SEMH, behaviour or alternative provision. • Calm, patient and confident communication. • Someone committed to supporting young people long term.
