Job Title: SEND Teaching Assisant - KS1 - Primary School - Trafford
Axcis Education is currently working with an exciting primary school in Trafford, that is looking for a full-time teaching assistant to work in a SEND class in a primary school. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with pupils with speech & language needs. A strong understanding of a range of SEND is essential. The ideal teaching assistant will be flexible in nature and will be able to adapt support to situations that occur throughout the school day. This is a SEND teaching assistant role and would require the candidate to work in a small class of KS1 pupils. The teaching assistant will support the pupils in the classroom and help facilitate their learning. This forward thinking Trafford based primary school is vastly improving in all areas. Strong Senior Leaders are committed in their quest to create a happy, warm learning environment for their pupils and staff to thrive in. All staff are working together with the school's long-term goal in mind. This is an inclusive primary setting with specialist SEND provision in place to cater for the specific needs of their students. The school in question are currently arranging trial days with a view to starting the full-time role early November.. If you are interested, contact Axcis Education. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Thomas Faithwaite at Axcis Education on 0161 507 9397.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
