Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Slough
Start Date: Early December 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
A dedicated SEND school in Slough is seeking a flexible and experienced SEND Teacher to join their committed team from early December 2025. This is a full-time role working across all age groups, supporting pupils with a wide range of special educational needs.
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have extensive experience in SEND education—this is the most important aspect of the role. You will be confident in adapting teaching and learning to meet a variety of complex needs, including SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and will have a deep understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching approaches.
We are looking for a teacher who is adaptable, nurturing and passionate about helping every child reach their potential. You will work closely with a team of skilled teaching assistants, therapists and senior staff to create a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Extensive experience teaching pupils with a range of SEND needs, including SLD
• Ability to work flexibly across different age groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, compassionate and proactive approach to teaching and behaviour management
