SEN Teacher – Secondary – Barking & Dagenham From £160/day (depending on experience) | Secondary | Barking & Dagenham | Immediate Start | Full-Time | Long-Term Axcis are working with a secondary school in Barking & Dagenham that provides specialist support for pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and autism spectrum conditions. In this role, you will be: • Planning and delivering engaging lessons adapted for learners with SEMH and autism. • Managing a small class size, supported by experienced TAs. • Using restorative approaches and relationship-based practice to manage behaviour. • Working closely with parents, the SENCO and external agencies to support student progress. What we’re looking for: • QTS or QTLS, with experience teaching pupils with additional needs. • A calm, resilient and reflective practitioner. • Strong understanding of differentiation, sensory needs and emotional regulation. • Commitment to inclusion and personalised learning.
