Axcis are working alongside a number of provisions to recruit both temporary and long term teachers to assist in varying roles. These range from working within PMLD schools, PRUs to working in resource bases. Prior experience working with SEND children is essential with a particular focus on SEND teachers who have worked in PRUs and PMLD Schools. Successful candidates will have fantastic strategies for dealing with challenging behaviour as well as having a proven track record of providing a nurturing and caring environment for their pupils. We are able to accommodate your needs in a sense that we can find you day to day work in a number of different settings to finding you a long term position in the same Axcis offer varying types of positions from day-to-day to long term placements which can be on either a full time or part time basis. We have immediate starts as well as requirements starting throughout the year. If you have experience working in either a mainstream or special provision and hold a relevant teaching qualification we want to hear from you to talk about upcoming opportunities. This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
