We are supporting a local residential care provision to build a bespoke Autism support team rota for 24 hour care. Our Clients are a well-known care company in Luton, and we are looking for Autism awareness and de-escalation and redirection skilled care and support workers to help this young person to access the wider community. You will need to be resilient and committed to working as part of a tightly focussed team around a young person to really reflect on how each shift has gone and collaborate to support this learner to make progress. This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
