Job Title: SEND support assistant
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A friendly and inclusive primary school in Moston area of Manchester is looking for a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join their team from September.
This full-time role offers £90–£95 per day and involves working 1:1 with pupils, particularly those with ASD, Down Syndrome, complex needs and/or challenging behaviour, helping them access learning and thrive in a structured environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting children or adults with SEND
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and resilience
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Experience in schools is welcome but not essential — we value backgrounds in care, youth work, or support services.
