Pay: From £89 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in West Bromwich as soon as possible.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting children aged 5–11 years with a range of special educational needs, including Autism. You will play a key role in providing tailored support on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping pupils access the curriculum, develop social skills, and reach their full potential within a nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 (ages 5–11)
• Assist in implementing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff
• Help create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Requirements:
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting is essential
• Experience supporting children with Autism and other SEN needs is essential
• A calm, patient, and consistent approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
