Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience

Are you a passionate individual who enjoys supporting children in a school setting?
We are currently looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school supporting students from the age of 6 months to 4 years old.
As an early years teaching assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young children’s learning and development during their most formative years. You will work closely with early years practitioners to create a nurturing, play-based environment and provide personalised support to children both in and out of structured activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to young children with a range of SEN in an Early Years setting
• Assist in implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or personalised learning strategies
• Support children’s early academic, emotional, social, and physical development through play-based and structured activities
• Work collaboratively with early years practitioners, SENCOs, and other school staff to ensure consistent support
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s unique needs
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting is essential
• Experience supporting young children with SEN is essential
• A positive, patient, and flexible approach to working with young learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, staff, and parents
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
