Secondary Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) Location: Salisbury Hours: 8:15am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Start Date: September 2025 Pay: Daily rates from £89 Axcis Education have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a newly established specialist school. They support pupils aged 4 to 19 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Their trauma-informed approach to education combines therapeutic support with high-quality care and learning, enabling our pupils to achieve their full potential. The school has been purposefully redesigned to meet the complex needs of our pupils. With bespoke spaces tailored for different ages and diagnoses, each child and young person is supported in an environment that fosters safety, engagement, and development. Facilities Include: • Fully equipped science laboratory, food technology room, and construction workshop • Modern ICT suites and creative arts/theatre room • A dedicated sensory room and multiple therapy spaces • Indoor and outdoor playgrounds, trim trail, and an outdoor multi-use games area (MUGA) Axcis Education are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and resilient individual to join the secondary phase team.
