Start Date: ASAP We are looking for a dedicated and confident Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community and help students thrive both academically and personally. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, can build positive relationships, and is ready to play a key part in helping students reach their full potential. About the Role: You’ll be supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. Working alongside subject teachers and pastoral staff, your role will include: Assisting with learning in lessons across a variety of subjects Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils who need extra help Helping students with SEN, learning difficulties, or emotional/behavioural needs Encouraging engagement, participation, and independent learning Supporting with behaviour management and positive routines We’re Looking For Someone Who: ? Has experience working with secondary-aged pupils or in a school setting ? Can remain calm, patient, and consistent in a fast-paced environment ? Builds strong, respectful relationships with students and staff ? Is confident supporting learning in core subjects, especially English and Maths ? Understands the challenges young people may face inside and outside the classroom Desirable: ?? SEN experience or training ?? Aspirations to move into teaching or pastoral roles in future ??
