Do you have experience supporting young people with special needs?
2 vacancies are available supporting young people in a 5 bedroom residential home. The home is situated in a lovely area in Sefton, and are all accessible from the near by motorways and public transport routes.
The residents have a variety of SEND needs including ASD, LD and some challenging behaviour. Duties would include daily home care chores, accompanying them to medical and social appointments and companionship.
The houses are equipped with all the resources for carers to support them in their daily lives and are modern and homely. The shifts are days only, 3 or 4 days a week (including some weekends), 12 or 14 hours per shift, with the rota given in advance.
De-escalation and restraint training would be an advantage. The rate of pay is £9-£11 per hour depending on experience.
