Job Title: Residential School Support Worker – Children with Complex Needs
Temp to Perm | Full-Time | 37 Hours per Week | Rota-Based We are seeking an experienced and passionate Residential School Support Worker to join a team supporting children with complex needs, including Autism and learning disabilities. Key Requirements Essential: Experience with children, ideally in residential care. Knowledge of personal care, manual handling & hoisting. Confident managing caseloads, writing reports & key working. Strong communication skills and computer literate. Able to work shifts including weekends, overnights & holidays. Works well independently and shows initiative. Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or willingness to train if made permanent). Personal Qualities: Reliable, confident, and team-focused. Genuine interest in improving children's lives. Hours & Rota Full-time: 37 hours/week over 7 days. Weekdays: 9am–5pm (office-based). Weekends: Early: 7am–4:30pm Late: 3:30pm–10pm Sleep-ins/night shifts occasionally required. Rota: 1 full weekend, 2 half weekends, 1 weekend off (4-week cycle).
