Axcis is working with a wonderful all-age ASD-specific special school in Kings Heath. This school has a big heart and is looking for teachers that will foster their values of "team work, equality, happiness, confidence and kindness". The school is looking for two teachers; one of the roles will be within the primary department and the other within the secondary department. Whilst the school caters to children and young people aged 4 to 16 years most children are currently working within the the Early Years Foundations Stage (EYFS) and Primary curriculums, therefore knowledge of these curriculums is essential. The school is looking for teachers who have previous SEND experience, preferably as a teacher within a SEND school or resource hub. The schools curriculum covers mainly the EYFS and Primary curriculum and so developmental and primary curriculum knowledge is essential.
